Thanksgiving post

See what I did there? Originally, I was going to post a very long-winded rant about how the North Atlantic Right Whale is the turkey of the sea, both for its corpulence, and for the role it played in the development of the country. But then I realized that the comparison is actually quite forced, and the better analogy would be that the NARW is the Buffalo of the sea: Gigantic, full of valuable resources, and a catalyst for the development for the frontier, which as Frederick Jackson Turner told us, is really what America is all about. Enjoy the holiday.
