Senator John McCain: “My advocacy for less government is the best government…I’m older than dirt and I have more scars than Frankenstein, but I’ve learned a few things on the way.”Amen.ALSO: This AP story seems to imply that (1) John Kerry is seriously considering another run at the White House in 2008, and that (2) his botched stupid-soldiers joke might have a real impact on his chances. I’m shocked he’s even considering another try–I think he’d have to go completely rogue from the Democratic Party leadership to get very far. It also seems like the botched joke is just one thing among many that would keep him from even winning the nomination this time around. It may have had some effect, but by no means was it a make-or-break him moment.
