Can you believe it?Today they beat the Seattle Seahawks. Their third victory in a row puts them at .500 and only one game back of the Seahawks (and they hold the tie-breaker against them, for now). Frank Gore is turning into a premier running back in the league and Alex Smith continues to develop as a QB. The playoffs are actually a possibility, especially when you consider their remaining schedule: the only teams they are going to play that are above .500 right now are the Broncos, the Saints, and the Seahawks (who they have shown they can beat).(Picture via ESPN)
