Pizza wars

This article really made me miss New Haven pizza. But it also angered the “New Havener” in me. Brooklyn style pizza, or what seems to be more commonly known as New York style pizza is a misnomer. New Haven is the site of the first thin-crust pizza in the U.S. and also the site of the best thin-crust pizzerias.New York makes the same claims but the only reason people play along is because New York is so centrally located, but if you want real pizza, go to Pepe’s (or if you must Sally’s) in New Haven and you’ll know what I mean.
