March 5, 1:44 a.m.—A man was shot and injured by two unidentified men near East 53rd Street and South Cornell Avenue. The attackers fled the scene on foot. According to police reports, the victim reported one of the gunmen’s names to police officers. The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition as police continue to investigate the case.
