Softball planned to wrap up its season this weekend, but the weather intervened to push the final showdowns into May.
The Maroons (18-–10) travel today to face off against UW–Whitewater (23–13) at 3 p.m. to make up for Sunday’s rainout. The squad’s matchup against the Warhawks was originally scheduled to be Chicago’s season finale at Stagg.
Instead, the team will hit the road to end their year, taking on 24th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan (28–9) at Bloomington on Wednesday. The 3 p.m. bout with the Titans will make up for the called games Saturday.
Both of Chicago’s last contests are doubleheaders.
