Josie Barboriak, Grey City Reporter

Josie Barboriak is a student from Durham, North Carolina majoring in Fundamentals and Sociology. She started writing for Grey City in the winter quarter of her first year and is especially interested in questions of urban policy and education. Outside of the Maroon, she summons her inner Patrick Bateman rowing on the Chicago River with the club crew team, assembles an eclectic collection of student poetry and art at Sliced Bread, and walks backwards around the campus performing mediocre standup as a tour guide. Her hobbies include learning moody songs on the guitar, writing poetry about the ocean, and interrogating econ majors about their motivations. You can find her making terrible puns over a game of pool at Hallowed Grounds.
